Monet is in charge of the Tejada drug cartel now that her husband Lorenzo Tejada (Berto Colon) is in prison for 25 years.
But after his sudden release in season two, Monet started to lose control of the things that kept her on top: her family and her business. With the highly anticipated start of season three, it looks like Monet's life will continue to go downhill.
Deadline reported that actress Caroline Chikezie will play a woman named Noma in the next installment.
They said she is "a worldly and powerful woman with a regal presence who built her wealth with an illegal global empire and is not afraid to protect it by any means necessary."
Noma could be a good competitor for Monet because she is also a rich businesswoman who is willing to go all out.
