Power Book II: Ghost," Tariq and the Tejadas family will be in danger from a new bad gangs.

On March 17, 2023, the third season of Power Book II: Ghost will start. The next season will focus on college student Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.), who, like his late father James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), is trying to balance his everyday life with his job as a drug dealer for Monet Tejada (Mary J. Blige).

But if a new bad guy joins the group, Tariq and the Tejadas are likely to be in danger.

In Season 3 of "Power Book II: Ghost," Tariq wants to quit the game.

In Power Book II: Ghost Season 3, Tariq wants to leave the game. His trust is on the line until he gets his college degree, and now that he knows his family is safe, he wants to quit.

Tariq and the Tejadas will be in danger because of a new bad guy.

Even though Tariq will want to leave the game, especially since his new internship on Wall Street will show him a different way of life, this season his work with the Tejadas will be even more dangerous.

 "When a new, ruthless contact shows up, Tariq's plans to get back together with Tasha and Yaz are put on hold. He, Brayden, and Effie are forced to go back to work for the Tejadas, where they have to move more weight than ever before."

It seems like this new foe is Norma, who was played by Caroline Chikezie. According to Deadline, Norma is a "worldly and powerful woman with a royal presence who built her wealth with an illegal global empire and isn't afraid to use any means necessary to protect it." In Season 3 of "Power Book II: Ghost," Monet Tejada is likely to leave her husband.

Since Lorenzo got out of prison after a ten-year sentence in Season 2, Monet's life has gone out of control. She can't control her three kids or her business anymore. Also, Lorenzo's jealousy of Monet's ex-lover Mecca (Daniel Sunjata) made him make a hasty choice that led to the death of Monet's oldest son Zeke (Daniel Bellomy).

Now, in Season 3, Monet will want to get back at Zeke, and once she realizes that her husband was smarter than Zeke, it will be lights out for Lorenzo. In part, this is what the official description of Season 3 says,

Monet Tejada is furious about the death of her son Zeke Cross, and she is willing to pay a high price to get revenge and keep her other children and business in line. She works closely with Davis MacLean to solve Zeke's and keep the feds from following her.
