At this point, it's almost certain that the wait for Power Book IV: Force season 2 is getting pretty old. Let's just say that at this time last year, the Joseph Sikora show wasn't going to be back on the air for a few more weeks.
This time, though, it's more than likely going to be a few months before we see it again! Even though we still have hope that the show will be worth the wait, this is a real test of our patience. Even Sikora thinks there's a good chance the show will be back in May. If you didn't see our recent tease about this, you can read it here.
We hope Starz decides to do this, mostly because it would be nice to see a light at the end of this proverbial tunnel. We should also say that the network has no reason to wait any longer than now or early June, since Power Book II: Ghost is probably going to end around then.
So, will it be worth it to wait for Power Book IV: Force season 2? Joseph seems to think so. In a new tweet, he says it's going to be a "GREAT season" and he can't wait for a date to be set. We know that Gary Lennon is taking over as showrunner.
He has been working with the Tommy character since the first season of Power. It could also be an epic revenge tour by Tommy Egan after Liliana died. (Personally, we still think it was a mistake to kill off this character, and we hope she comes back to life in some way. That might not be possible, but still.)
Most likely, we'll find out when the show will start when it's late winter or early spring. Until then, let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best.
What do you think will happen over the course of the second season of Power Book IV: Force?
