Chris Hughton has reportedly selected 24 players for next month's 2023 Africa Nations Group E match against Madagascar.
Hughton has made several notable selections for the crucial match, which is scheduled to take place at Stade Kianja Barea in Antananarivo on June 18, 2023.
According to the Tru News Report, Alidu Seidu and Kwasi Okyere Wreidt have returned to the team as a result of their outstanding club performances.
Ernest Nuamah, a player for Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga who has scored 15 goals this season, has been called up to the senior national team for the first time due to his outstanding performances in Denmark.
The group has also welcomed back several recurring members. Patrick Kpozo, a defender who currently plays for Moldova, and Nicholas Opoku, a native of Amiens, have both been recalled.
Majeed Ashimeru, a midfielder for Anderlecht, will also compete for Ghana again. The Black Stars are in first place in their division with eight points after two wins and two draws in their previous four games.
The upcoming match against Madagascar will be crucial for Ghana's participation in the prestigious tournament taking place in Ivory Coast the following year.
