The stills feature glimpses of several returning characters, including Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan, Isaac Keys as Diamond Sampson, Lili Simmons as Claudia Flynn, Shane Harper as Vic Flynn, and Tommy Flanagan as Walter Flynn.
In one of the snaps (above), it seems that the latter two are facing each other.
In the first image, Tommy seems to be lost in his thoughts, while in the second image, he is engaged in a conversation with his mother Kate (played by Patricia Kalember), who appears to be experiencing some emotional intensity during their discussion.
In the meantime, Vic and Claudia can be seen engaged in a deep conversation over a drink in the image below. Additionally, the second image below showcases both Tommy and Diamond.
According to a press release, it appears that in the new season, Tommy is even more determined to conquer Chicago's drug world. It seems that he will have to face the consequences of his actions.
The release explains that after Tommy cut ties in New York, he was enticed by his newfound family and the ruthless drug game to stay in Chicago.
The second season starts off with Tommy embarking on a mission to seek justice for the unfortunate passing of Lilliana, who was once his adversary but later became his business partner.
The synopsis further states: "With Diamond and Jenard (Kris D Lofton) having differences, the Flynn organisation facing challenges, and a new connection emerging, Tommy is increasingly determined to establish his dominance in the Chicago drug world."
The new episodes will be released weekly following the premiere on 1st September. The season will include a total of ten episodes.
